iAnnounce is an internet application that adds value to announcement advertising in newspapers. By generating a personalised, interactive web page for every advertiser, iAnnounce adds value to the notice, enabling the newspapers to increase their rates.
History
iAnnounce is the brain child of Alex Stitt. After 10 years working for national newspaper & magazine publishers, Alex recognised a widespread need for digital innovations that made money. Armed with the knowledge that the Announcements page is The Telegraph’s most profitable page, he used the tools from the emerging social networking sites like MySpace, Friends ReUnited and Bebo and applied them to the BMD franchise. He knew that newspapers required solutions that were:

iAnnounce was devised to hit all these buttons. It has now been widely adopted throughout the industry, with iAnnounce uploading c50,000 notices a month onto their system.
